Johanna Russell

Johanna Russell is an experienced education professional with a focus on visual arts. As a Visual Art Teacher at Ankeny Community School District since August 2003, Johanna has developed a strong foundation in art education. In addition to this role, Johanna has served as an Instructor for the Iowa State Education Association since April 2019 and as a Course Instructor at Heartland AEA since June 2016. Previously, Johanna contributed as an Instructor and Content Creator at The Art of Education University from April 2015 to August 2019. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Art with Honors in Art Teacher Education from the University of Iowa College of Education and a Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo University.
