Dr. T.j. Niño

Dr. T.J. Niño has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They currently serve as the Director of Learning & Workforce Development at Heartland Alliance, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Niño worked as the Associate Director of Policy and Training at Heartland Alliance from October 2017 to January 2021.

In addition to their work at Heartland Alliance, Dr. Niño is an Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, starting in August 2022. They also have experience as an Independent Consultant/Coach, working as a Business Consultant since January 2012.

Dr. Niño's previous roles include serving as a Professional Development Specialist at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center from November 2009 to September 2017. They also worked as a Therapist at Youth and Family Guidance Inc. from December 2005 to June 2012.

Dr. Niño's early career includes a role as a Customer Operations Manager at Pitney Bowes from March 2006 to June 2009.

Dr. T.J. Niño is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School (2017-2022). Dr. T.J. previously obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Psychology from National Louis University (2003-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology & Criminal Justice from The University of Olivet (1997-2001). Dr. T.J. also has a Highschool Diploma in Ag business from Chicago Highschool for Agricultural sciences (1993-1997).
