Willis Francis

Managing Director Of Supportive Services at Heartland Alliance

Willis Francis has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Willis started their career in 2000 at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare, where they served as a Program Manager and later worked in the Acute Services division. In 2006, they became a Psychotherapist/Consultant at Practice, providing therapy and conducting Immigration Hardship Evaluations. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Contractual Psychotherapist at the Center on Halsted. In 2008, they joined The Chicago School of Professional Psychology as an Adjunct Faculty member. In 2009, they were a Child Psychotherapist at the Chicago Childrens Center for Behavioral Health. At Northwestern University, they worked as a Preceptor, teaching counseling students from 2018 to 2019. Since 2010, Willis has been affiliated with Heartland Alliance, initially serving as the Associate Director for Clinical Services in Youth and Residential Programs. Willis then became the Director of Clinical Services for the same division, and currently holds the position of Managing Director of Supportive Services.

Willis Francis earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, where they studied from 1998 to 2000.
