Mark Lockhart has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mark started their career at the National Bank of New Zealand as a Senior Manager in Risk Assessment & Compliance. Mark then moved on to ANZ, where they held multiple roles, including Head of Strategic Projects and General Manager of Business Performance. Mark later joined AmBank Berhad as the Head of Group Projects before returning to ANZ as the Head of New Zealand Projects. Mark then joined UDC Finance Limited, where they served as Chief Risk Officer and Head of Lending, Operations & Strategy. Following that, they worked at Motovill Limited as the Head of Risk Management and Trade Finance. Mark also has experience in management consulting, having worked at Third Bridge Group Limited and AlphaSights. Most recently, they joined Heartland Bank LTD as the Deputy CRO - Credit Risk.
Mark Lockhart completed their education at multiple institutions. Mark obtained a Master's degree in Management from Massey University in 2003 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking from the same university in 2001. Mark also received a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington in 1999. Additionally, they completed a Master's degree in TEFL-TESOL from Teflen Training College in 2019. Mark also holds certifications, including being a Fellow of FINSIA (Financial Services Institute of Australasia) in 2002, and obtaining University Entrance and School Certificate from Christchurch Boys' High School in 1984 and 1983 respectively.
