Alyson Wysong-Harder, LCSW, LSCSW, is a seasoned professional in the field of behavioral health with extensive experience in both leadership and clinical roles. Currently serving as the CEO of Heartland Behavioral Health since January 2004, Wysong-Harder oversees a 150-bed child and adolescent behavioral health hospital. In addition, Wysong-Harder has been an Outpatient Therapist at Pura Veda Integrative Wellness since August 2005, focusing on women’s health and wellness through integrative care and EMDR. As CEO at UHS since January 2011, Wysong-Harder contributes to organizational leadership and management. Furthermore, Wysong-Harder held the position of Rural Childhood Obesity Health Strategist for Healthy Nevada_A Vision for Rural Health from January 2020 to July 2021, where efforts centered on developing programs that address social determinants of health in rural populations. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas.

Heartland Behavioral Health is a children’s behavioral health hospital located on a 50-acre campus in Nevada, MO. We offer short-term, acute psychiatric hospitalization, and a longer-term, residential treatment with very specialized programming catered to each individual child in our care. Our mission is to provide programs and services that will improve the overall health and well-being of children and their families.
