Chris Thurman Pmp, Pmi-Acp

Chris Thurman, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM has a diverse work experience in project management and leadership roles. Starting in 2005, they owned their own business until 2012. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Sales Analyst at Simplify. Chris then joined Christ the Rock Community Church in 2012 as the Creative Department Director until 2015. During this time, they transitioned to Cherished Bliss as a Project Manager from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, Chris joined Thrivent as a Project Manager before moving to Heartland Business Systems later that year, where they first served as a Senior Project Manager and was recently promoted to Director Project Management Office in May 2022. Chris's experience demonstrates their strong project management skills and ability to lead teams effectively.

Chris Thurman, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management from Colorado State University Global. In addition to their degree, Chris has obtained several certifications related to project management and information technology. Chris became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in September 2020. Chris also acquired the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in November 2019. Furthermore, they obtained the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2019. Chris's most recent certification is the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), which they obtained in April 2021. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Chris completed a course in Computer Science Fundamentals: CP (CTE) at Salt Lake Community College in May 2017.
