Theola Carter is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in policy and program improvement focused on racial equity. Currently serving as Treasurer for the National Association of Parliamentarians and Assistant Treasurer for the Dane County NAACP, Theola is dedicated to facilitating democratic decision-making and community support. With a managerial role in Dane County since 2017, Theola evaluates policies to enhance equity across various demographics. In addition, Theola contributes to several boards, including TEMPO Madison and Heartland Credit Union, and is an adjunct professor at Concordia University, teaching InterCultural Communications and Principles of Management. Theola holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in History/English from Fisk University.
