Mark Ellis

Mark Ellis is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Treasury Liquidity Manager at HTLF since August 2021, overseeing liquidity management for a bank-holding company with total assets of $19 billion. In addition, Mark is a Lecturer in Principles of Macroeconomics at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville beginning September 2024. Previous roles include Financial Analyst at Cottingham & Butler, where profitability metrics and compensation analytics were developed, and Deposit Operations Analyst at Heartland Financial USA, Inc., focusing on data analytics and process improvement. Mark has also contributed as a Student Consultant at both Lithon and Microsoft, performed research at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and completed internships at Blue Cross and Blue Shield and ANGUS Chemical Company. Mark holds a Master of Science in Finance from Georgetown University, a Certificate in Applied Data Science for Finance, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
