Sara Prigel is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong background in philanthropy, development, and event management. Currently serving as the Philanthropy and Special Events Director at Heartland Soccer Association since March 2019, and as the Development Manager at The First Tee of Greater Kansas City since April 2014, Sara Prigel is adept at revenue generation, donor cultivation, and brand awareness initiatives. Previous roles include positions at Burns & McDonnell, Bishop Ward High School, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, and Newhouse, contributing various skills from corporate affairs to graphic design. Sara Prigel holds a Master of Arts in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Communications from Ottawa University, along with an Associate degree in Graphic Design from Johnson County Community College.

Heartland Soccer Association
Heartland Soccer Association is a nonprofit and educational youth soccer association and is recognized as the largest and most competitive youth soccer leagues and tournament hosts in the United States. The league accepts players of all skill levels including recreational and premier level players and teams. Each year over 170+ different soccer clubs compete through Heartland. Over 1500+ teams and 30,000+ plus youth from age 9 to 19 compete each league season and many age groups have up to 12 subdivisions with 9 or more teams playing in each subdivision. The sheer number of teams allow players and teams the opportunity to compete against similarly skilled teams at all ages. In addition to league play, Heartland Soccer Association hosts over a dozen exceptional tournaments each year all played on world class turf fields. Our tournaments draw over 300+ teams and 50,000+ youth players, from over 16 states including Texas, Minnesota, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Illinois, as well as Mexico and Canada.
