The HEARTS Academy Trust was established in 2011 and is inspired by it's values of happiness, self-esteem, achievement, respect & responsibility, truth, spirituality and service. Trust schools are all based in the south of Essex.  

The Trust was founded by The Wickford Church of England School, and also now includes Briscoe Primary School & Nursery, Waterman Primary School, Stambridge Primary School, Hilltop Junior School and Hilltop Infant School.  In 2018 we were proud to open The Atrium, a specialist alternative provision for children with social and emotional needs. 

The Trust is a true team of people who are passionate about providing a consistently good and outstanding learning environment for all pupils.

The Educational Support Team at HEARTS Academy Trust provides comprehensive assistance to ensure an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The Early Years Lead Practitioner focuses on early childhood education, the Teaching Assistant supports classroom activities and individual students, the Trust Counsellor offers emotional and psychological support, and the Lead Practitioner for SEND, Safeguarding, and SEMH manages special educational needs, safeguarding practices, and social-emotional well-being. Together, they work to uphold the Trust’s values and enhance student achievement and well-being.
