Michael Welfel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael began their career at Fluor as a Design Engineer from January 2002 to August 2005. Michael then moved on to Direct Energy as a Senior Analyst in the Commodities, Fundamentals, and Analytics Group from June 2006 to June 2007. From June 2007 to August 2016, they worked as the Director of Investor Relations at Columbia Pipeline Group. In 2016, they founded Seven Lakes Group, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO. Additionally, Michael has also taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Hearts at Home Senior Care since November 2016.
Michael Welfel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they have an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
