Kikuo Yasui

Kikuo Yasui has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kikuo is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Heartseed Inc. Since joining the company in January 2019, they have played a key role in the operations of the organization.

Prior to Heartseed Inc., Yasui worked at AbbVie from 2012 to 2018. During their tenure, they held various positions of increasing responsibility and was involved in several critical projects. From September to December 2018, they served as the Japan Project Leader for Immunology Clinical Development. Before that, they were the Business Unit Manager for the Dermatology, Immunology BU from January 2017 to August 2018. Before joining AbbVie, Yasui worked as a Portfolio Management Associate at Abbott from 2010 to 2012. Kikuo also had a brief stint as a Corporate staff at Janssen Pharmaceutical, K.K. from 2009 to 2010.

Yasui's earlier career included roles at Bain & Company, where they worked as a Senior Associate Consultant from 2007 to 2009 and as an Associate Consultant from 2005 to 2007.

Kikuo Yasui began their education in 1999 at The University of Tokyo where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Kikuo successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. Following this, Kikuo continued their education at The University of Tokyo, undertaking a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2003 to 2005.
