Yonaka Harris

Yonaka Harris is a Program Analyst at HeartShare St. Vincent's Services since December 2021. Previously, Yonaka served as a Health Informatics Research Intern at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences from September 2019 to May 2021, where research focused on the perception of pharmacogenetic testing among clinicians regarding Major Depressive Disorder. As a Graduate Student at Weill Cornell Medicine from September 2019 to August 2020, a Master's Capstone Project investigated the mediating effects of environmental factors on postpartum depression and children's allergic diseases using SQL for data cohort building. Earlier experience includes a role as a Group Leader at Police Athletic League, Inc. from January 2017 to April 2020, collaborating with educators to enhance students' educational experiences. Yonaka holds a Master of Science in Population Health Sciences from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Informatics from City Tech, CUNY.
