Oscar Castro

Oscar Castro is an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer with a strong background in programming, testing, and commissioning machinery, particularly within the cable industry. Currently employed at Heat Management since April 2023, Oscar previously held similar roles at Skaltek Group and EECTA Ltda., where responsibilities included PLC programming and development of SCADA systems for the oil palm industry. Oscar has also contributed to the deployment and maintenance of seismological networks at Servicio Geológico Colombiano and led the electronic division responsible for earthquake monitoring operations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from Uppsala University and a Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering from Universidad de La Salle.
