Mattias Nilsson

Mattias Nilsson is a software and data engineer who currently works at Heaten. Mattias has previously worked as a research and development engineer at Viking Development Group and as a lead engineer at Viking Heat Engines.

Mattias has a passion for developing innovative technologies that support the transition to a sustainable energy economy. Mattias has played a key role in developing Heaten's unique piston-based system that operates on the organic rankine cycle (ORC). Mattias is also responsible for predicting product performance, presenting the technology at various conferences, and publishing scientific papers.

Mattias Nilsson has a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Management degree from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), and a Language and Literature degree from Dalian University of Technology. Mattias also has certification from Coursera in Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design, Version Control with Git, and Machine Learning; from Udemy in iOS & Swift - The Complete iOS App Development Bootcamp, Data Analysis Course with Pandas : Hands on Pandas, Python, and The Complete Product Management Course; and from EtonX in Verbal Communication Course.
