Alara Akıltopu

Alara Akıltopu is an experienced architectural professional with a diverse background in design and leadership. Currently serving as an Architectural Technologist at Heatherwick Studio since April 2025, Alara is also the Founder of ALR Architecture, established in October 2019. Previous roles include Architect at Arney Fender Katsalidis from February 2021 to April 2025, and Architectural Designer positions at HKS, Inc., Perkins&Will, and The Switzer Group between 2019 and 2021. Alara's career started at OLI Architecture PLLC from July 2017 to December 2018. Educationally, Alara holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from UCLA, completed in 2017.
