Chris Needham has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Chris currently holds the position of Head of Learning Delivery and Operations at Heathrow airport, where they are responsible for overseeing the training and operational aspects of the organization. Prior to this, Chris served as the Learning Lead for Engineering, Airside Operations, Baggage, and APOC at Heathrow. Chris also held the role of Learning Lead for Service and Security. Before joining Heathrow, Chris worked at Heathrow Airports Ltd as the Security Training Manager, where they managed a team of trainers and was responsible for developing and delivering security training courses. Earlier in their career, Chris worked at BAA in various roles, including Head of Operations, Operations Delivery Manager, and Airport Duty Manager, where they were responsible for managing terminal operations, stakeholder relations, and overall daily operations at Heathrow. Additionally, Chris has experience as a Service Manager and Security Duty Manager at BAA, as well as a Regional Manager at Quantica Training, where they specialized in delivering aviation industry-related qualifications. Chris began their career at Virgin Atlantic as a Traffic Officer, where they were responsible for aircraft turnarounds and weight and balance coordination.

Chris Needham attended Watford College from 1986 to 1990, where they studied Engineering Technology. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1986, they attended Queens School in Watford, but the degree and field of study are unspecified.
