Stanley Juk

Stan graduated from Winyah High School in Georgetown, SC in 1963. He finished the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a chemistry major in 1967. He then finished Duke Medical School with his MD degree in 1971. After internship and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL, he returned to Duke for his cardiology fellowship in Durham, NC. He completed this in 1975 and returned to Columbia SC to practice cardiology. He currently works at Lexington Medical Center with LM HVC Cardiology and currently has an office practice only.

He is married to the former Miss Ann McDonald of Columbia. Ann was also a member of Heathwood Hall School Board for two terms. They have two adult children, Steven Juk (HHS 1989) and wife Mary; Katherine Draffin (HHS 1994) and husband Stephen Draffin (HHS 1991). They also have four grandchildren: Walker Draffin (HHS 2022), Ellie Draffin (HHS 2023), Ann Nelson Draffin (HHS 2028) and Maggie Juk (HHS legacy 2038).

Ann and Stan are members of Shandon Methodist Church.
