Florina Costea-Tugui has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at Heaven Solutions, where they reviewed software requirements, executed usability tests, and analyzed test results. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, they worked at Accenture as an Analyst, ensuring accuracy in processes, resolving billing queries, and providing regular reporting. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Xerox as a Customer Service Specialist, providing administrative, commercial, and technical assistance to customers. Before that, from 2008 to 2010, they worked at OPEN MIND ROMANIA as a Commercial Consultant, conducting marketing activities, closing contracts, and performing market research. In 2008, they also had a brief role as a Host Ride at Cedar Point Amusement Park, where they monitored visitor access and supervised for safety precautions.

Florina Costea-Tugui obtained their Bachelor's degree in English and Italian Language and Literature/Letters from Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași, from the year 2005 to 2008. In 2018, they attended Wantsome for a course in Manual Testing. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2020.
