John Bivens

John Bivens is a seasoned comic creator and illustrator with extensive experience in the comic book industry. Currently serving as a Comic Creator at Vault Comics since January 2019, Bivens is also an Adjunct Professor at both Minneapolis College of Art and Design and Dakota County Technical College, teaching courses on comic creation. Bivens' notable work as an illustrator includes contributions to Image Comics' "Dark Engine," and multiple recognized projects, including the Eisner and Harvey award-winning anthology "COMIC BOOK TATTOO." With a strong foundation in art education, having earned a Master of Fine Arts in Comic Books from Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Northern Illinois University, Bivens continues to influence the comic arts through both teaching and professional practice.
