HebHomes

Hebhomes offers a wide range of flat-pack homes to suit all families, budgets and levels of expertise. Our eco-friendly designs, inspired by traditional Hebridean architecture, are sympathetic to the landscape and can be readily adapted to your specific location and requirements. Design Excellence Kit houses are not usually associated with airy, open-plan living, floor-to-ceiling windows and modern interior design details like polished concrete or oak-wood flooring. But the HebHomes range, created by the award-winning architecture firm Dualchas, offers all of this and more. And because they echo traditional forms – like blackhouses, longhouses and agricultural sheds – our houses are loved by planners in both rural and urban settings. Green Construction Systems Rather than standard timber studs – a technology that is struggling to keep up with modern building standards – we use advanced ‘structurally insulated panels’ (SIPs), where the insulation is integral to the structure. And for the ultimate in eco house building, we also offer our range in cross-laminated timber (CLT). With off-site construction, our super-insulated houses can be built much quicker than you would expect. Flexibility If you would like to make changes, our architects are happy to work with you to make amendments to suit your particular needs. We can supply a self-build house kit, or arrange for it to be erected for you. We also provide a partial and full turnkey service – that is, organising planning permission and warrants, and arranging for a contractor to take the build to completion – across the UK and Ireland. Our kits can be delivered across the world. Price Certainty Building your own house can be stressful, and one of the biggest concerns is price. Many kit companies hide the full costs, which leads to financial distress further down the line. That’s why we provide you with the clearest, simplest pricing information we can.
