Lynda Stewart is an experienced educator and manager with a diverse background in both academic and retail environments. Currently serving as an educator at Hebrew Public since August 2022, Lynda also holds a position as adjunct faculty at the Fashion Institute of Technology since September 2001. Lynda's previous roles include general manager at Staples Inc. from February 2009 to December 2022, where responsibilities encompassed managing various business portfolios and performance management, and general manager at Borders Books from February 2005 to February 2009. Additionally, Lynda served as store manager at Barnes & Noble College Books from August 1998 to February 2005, focusing on profit and loss management and talent development. Lynda holds a Bachelor's degree in History/Psychology from Long Island University and a Master’s degree in Labor Studies from SUNY Empire State College, completed between 2009 and 2016.
