Daniel Knuth

Daniel Knuth has a strong background in finance and M&A within the energy and utilities industry. Daniel currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of M&A at Hecate Energy LLC, where they lead development project M&A, corporate development, and commercial strategy. Some of their key accomplishments include managing the sale of a significant equity stake, raising a senior secured credit facility, and pricing revenue contracts and offtake agreements. In previous roles, Daniel worked as a Senior Manager in Finance and M&A, as well as a Senior and Finance Associate, before starting their career as a Financial Analyst. Prior to joining Hecate Energy LLC, they gained valuable experience at PA Consulting as a Consultant and Analyst in the energy and utilities sector. There, they provided clients with advisory services on power and renewables M&A, including market assessments, asset valuations, and investment strategies. Daniel also oversaw research on emerging markets and technologies and conducted financial analysis.

Daniel Knuth completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, in 2013, they spent a brief period at The University of Bonn, where they focused on studying German Language and Culture.
