Carlos Aguiar

Carlos Aguiar was appointed Vice President – General Manager, of the company’s Lucky Friday Mine in July 2021. Prior to that, he was Vice President – General Manager, Minera Hecla, at the San Sebastian Mine from April 2016 to June 2021. He was project manager for the San Sebastian milling operation from July 2015 to March 2016. Mr. Aguiar has held a number of positions at the company’s operations in Mexico, Idaho and Venezuela, including Processing Superintendent at the La Choya mine in Mexico where he first joined Hecla in 1996. He began his career in 1995 as a metallurgist and has over 20 years of experience in engineering and management in the mining industry.
