Chris McLean

Chris McLean has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Chris is currently the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - Canada at Hecla Mining Company, where they oversee financial operations. Prior to this, they worked at Hecla Québec Inc. as the Controller - Canadian Operations, responsible for financial reporting and site control in Val-d'Or, QC. Before joining Hecla, Chris served as the Corporate Controller at Aurizon Mines Ltd., where they prepared financial statements and assisted the CFO in budgeting and forecasting. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Regional Accounting Manager at TCG International, leading a team of accountants and providing financial guidance to regional operations. Chris also gained experience as the Supervisor of Trust Accounting at Alderwoods, where they supervised trust fund accounting and implemented process improvements.

Chris McLean attended École Secondaire Charlebois from 1985 to 1990, where they completed their high school education. Later, from 1995 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management at Université Laval.
