Serg Metelin 🇺🇦

Serg Metelin has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as Interactive Developer at Wasabi Digital in 2010. Serg then moved on to become Senior Interactive Developer at the same company. In 2009, Metelin Co-founded and served as CTO of Hakuna Matata, a social media development and web apps company with 10 million active users and 100,000 daily active users. From 2012 to 2017, they held the position of Head of Technology and Head of Technical Innovation at Edge Custom Media, which became Edge. During this same period, they also served as Senior Digital Consultant at Servian and Advisor at Persollo Pty Ltd. In 2017, they became Head of Developer Relations at Block.one, and in 2021 they moved to Hedera Hashgraph as Developer Advocate and Executive Director Americas. Most recently, in 2022, Metelin joined Swirlds Labs as Developer Advocate and Executive Director Americas.

Serg Metelin has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Macquarie Business School (2020-2022), a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from The Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, Ukraine (2006-2010), and attended Ukrainian American College (2004-2006). Serg also has certifications from HackerRank in JavaScript (Basic), Problem Solving (Basic), React (Basic), and Rest API (Intermediate), as well as a Python for Everybody certification from Coursera and a Scrum Fundamentals Certified Credential from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
