Zach Schwartz

Zach Schwartz has over 13 years of work experience, starting in 2008 as a Web Designer and Developer. In 2009, they worked as an Online Communications Manager for New Israel Fund and as a New Media Director for Obama for America. In 2011, they co-founded Guidesly and worked there for a year. From 2012-2013, they were a Data Visualization & UX employee at Bloomberg LP. From 2013-2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at O'Reilly Media. Zach was a Creative Technologist at Adecco at Google from 2017-2018 before becoming the CTO & Co-Founder of Cascade from 2019-2022. Zach also worked as the Lead Engineer at Hederis in 2019 before moving to their latest position as Founding Engineer at Belfry in July 2022.

Zach Schwartz completed their high school education at Washington-Lee High School, though the dates are unknown. Zach then attended the University of Chicago from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. From 2010 to 2012, they studied Interactive Telecommunications at Tsich and completed a Master of Professional Studies at New York University.
