Brian Thomsen

Brian Thomsen is an experienced professional in the aquaculture sector, currently serving as a member of the Hedeselskabet representative council for Region Midtjylland and chief adviser for the Danish Aquaculture Producer Organisation. Thomsen has held the position of director at The Danish Aquaculture Organisation since June 2000 and chairs the Aquaculture Advisory Council for the EU Commission. Additional roles include board member at Fiskebranchen, vice president of the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers, and member of the advisory board at DTU Aqua. Thomsen also serves as the chair for Agri-Aqua Innovation Denmark. Educational credentials include an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, an MSc in Chemistry from the Technical University of Denmark, and various degrees from Aarhus University and IDA/CBS focused on business administration and leadership.
