Lauren Taylor has been working in the field of UX research since 2022, when they began working at Hedgehog Lab. Prior to that, they held various roles in the childcare industry, starting in 2018 as a Team Lead Nursery Practitioner at St Gabriel's Day Nursery, then as a Senior Nursery Practitioner and finally as a Nursery Practitioner. Before that, they worked at Maple Lodge Day Nursery from 2010 to 2018, where they held roles as a Senior Nursery Practitioner and a Nursery Practitioner.

Lauren Taylor received their Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Heath and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services from Pearson Education between 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development from Newcastle College between 2008 and 2010. In August 2022, they also obtained certifications in Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes, Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts, Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma, Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design, Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD, and Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate from Coursera.
