Ruta Joshi

Ruta Joshi is a Senior ML Research Engineer at Hedra, focusing on ML infrastructure and multimodal video generation models since September 2025. Previously, Ruta held various engineering roles at Applied Intuition, contributing to end-to-end ML engineering for offroad autonomous driving, specialized in perception, planning, and controls from March 2022 to August 2025. Ruta gained research experience at Stanford Robotics Lab and Stanford Vision and Learning Lab, working under notable professors, and served as a teaching assistant for multiple computer science courses at Stanford University. Additional experience includes software development, ML infrastructure roles, and developing AI models for autonomous driving in lunar environments. Ruta holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
