Leniya Leonard

Leniya Leonard currently serves as a Program Manager at Hegira Health, Inc. since March 2020 and as a Business Owner at Barter by Design Detroit, LLC, also since March 2018, specializing in business networking through bartering. Concurrently, Leniya has been involved with Altruistic Collective Experience LLC in various roles, including Clinical Supervision, Consulting, and Quality Assurance since September 2015. Prior experience includes a part-time faculty position at Wayne State University from August 2016 to January 2022 and work as an Independent Contractor providing licensed clinical social work services from December 2015 to January 2022. Leniya also held the position of Program Supervisor at Adult Well-Being Services from August 2010 to November 2015 and worked as a Legal Investigator for the City of Detroit from 2000 to 2010. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University (2006-2009) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Detroit Mercy (1994-1998).
