Derran Smith

Derran Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial operations and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Operations & Strategy at Industrial Technologies Group since October 2018, Derran specializes in strategic planning, product development, and acquisitions. Derran has held multiple senior roles at The Heico Companies LLC since February 2004, including President and General Manager, and has led significant integration efforts within its affiliates, such as Metal Processing Group and Ohmite Manufacturing. Derran's background in consulting with BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting further enhances a diverse skill set in sales, marketing, and business development. Derran holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Georgetown University, and has completed an executive education program at Kellogg focusing on sales strategy and digital transformation.
