Mara Lythgo

Mara Lythgo is an experienced visual artist and arts manager with a diverse professional background in various roles related to visitor services, education, and marketing in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Visitor Services & Volunteer Program Manager at the Heide Museum of Modern Art since December 2017, Mara has also held positions such as Senior Visitor Services Officer and Visitor Services Officer. As an independent artist, Mara focuses on commissioned works while also founding and teaching at Hatch Arts Hub. Previous roles include Marketing Officer and Volunteer Coordinator at Trocadero Art Space, Market Coordinator at Karibu Markets, and Art Tutor at Incinerator Gallery and Frankston Arts Centre. Mara's educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Arts Management from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) from the University of Sydney, along with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from RMIT University.
