Melanie Polzer

Melanie Polzer has over 15 years of experience in product marketing and management within the ophthalmic industry. Currently serving as Team Lead Product Marketing and Global Product Marketing Manager at Heidelberg Engineering since 2007, Melanie has also held roles as Senior Product Manager and Product Manager for both Anterior Segment and Fundus Camera products. Prior to this, Melanie gained project management experience in Phoniatrics and Pedaudiology at University Clinic Frankfurt and worked in various departments at University Clinic Heidelberg, contributing to Phoniatrics, Audiology, and Ophthalmology. Earlier career experience includes roles at MPG&E, Poschmann Kontaktlinsen, and as an optician at Apollo Optik GmbH. Melanie holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Optometry and Audiology from the University of Applied Sciences Aalen.
