Christoph Deil

Christoph Deil is a professional with extensive experience in predictive analytics and process optimization, currently serving as Senior Product Owner Predict at Heidelberg Materials since January 2020, where responsibilities include building digital models and tools to enhance cement production efficiency. Previously, Christoph held the position of Product Owner Predict, focusing on the development of analytics tools to optimize cement production and reduce resource consumption. Earlier in the career at HeidelbergCement, Christoph worked as a Data Scientist, contributing to IoT data engineering and machine learning model development. Prior to joining Heidelberg Materials, Christoph served as a Research Scientist at MPI for Nuclear Physics, specializing in gamma-ray astronomy. Christoph holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics from Heidelberg University, as well as a Diplom in Physics from the same institution and academic experience at Arizona State University.
