Katja Karcher

Katja Karcher, LL.M. (London), is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. Since July 2009, Katja has served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Heidelberg Materials AG, contributing to both the Personnel Committee and the Sustainability and Innovation Committee. In their role as Global Lead Counsel for Digital, IT Law & Procurement within the Heidelberg Materials Group Legal & Compliance Department, Katja leads the Practice Group while advising on various digital projects, particularly in IT law. Prior to this, Katja was Group Legal Counsel at Adient, where responsibilities included advising European subsidiaries on commercial and corporate law, executing M&A transactions, and supporting management teams on strategic agreements. Katja holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London and has legal training at Landgericht Düsseldorf and Justizministerium NRW.
