Tom Thackeray

Tom Thackeray is a seasoned professional in private capital executive search and leadership advisory with over a decade of experience. Since October 2011, Tom has served as a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, specializing in illiquid strategies such as credit, private equity, and hybrid funds, focusing on capital raising, deployment, portfolio management, and senior management placements. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Stevenson James from July 2008 to October 2011, concentrating on executive search within the alternative assets market, particularly in private equity and related sectors. Tom's earlier career includes positions at Hogarth Davies Lloyd and TSG, as well as an education in General Management from Cambridge Judge Business School and a degree in Politics from the University of Bristol.
