Jen Girten

Jen Girten, Ed.D. has over two decades of experience in education and program development. Currently serving as the Manager of Education Program Development at Heifer International since August 2004, Jen has also held various leadership roles within the organization, including Manager of School Programs and Coordinator of School Programs. Prior experience includes positions at Lambuth University as Director of Alumni Relations and Assistant Director of the Annual Fund, as well as Student Development Coordinator, from July 2000 to July 2004. Earlier in Jen's career, a teaching role was held at St. Joseph Catholic School, where fourth-grade students were taught from August 1999 to June 2000. Jen holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Union University, a Master of Arts in Education from Cumberland University, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies/Elementary Education from Lambuth University.
