Diederick van Den Bouwhuijsen

Diederick van den Bouwhuijsen is an experienced tax professional currently serving in a corporate tax and treasury role at Heijmans since June 2022. Previously, Diederick held positions as Head of Tax and Manager Tax at Damen Shipyards Group from March 2017 to May 2022. Prior to that, Diederick worked as a Tax Advisor at Taxperience N.V. and Baker Tilly Berk, where responsibilities included serving as an all-around tax advisor with a focus on international advisory and corporate restructuring, as well as participating in an International Tax Group. Diederick also gained experience through internships in international corporate tax advisory at Baker & McKenzie and Houthoff Buruma. An accomplished athlete, Diederick was a full-time rower for the Royal Dutch Rowing Federation from 2008 to 2010. Diederick holds a Master’s degree in Fiscal Economics from Tilburg University and a Propedeuse from the Royal Dutch Navy Institute.
