Anders Schmelck

Anders Schmelck has held various roles in multiple companies throughout their career. Anders is currently working as the Director of Data and Insight at Heimstaden since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at Aprila Bank from December 2019 to August 2021. Before that, they served as the Chief Risk Officer at Fundu AS from March 2018 to December 2019. Their longest tenure was at SG Finans AS, where they held multiple roles from August 2010 to March 2018, including Head of Portfolio Management and Risk Modelling, Risk Manager, and Portfolio Analyst. In their role at SG Finans, they were responsible for overseeing all modelling activities and coordinating with Société Générale Group for quantitative methods, modelling, and capital requirements.

Anders Schmelck completed their MSc in Physics, Mathematics, and Financial Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in the period of 2005 to 2010. In 2009, they also pursued an exchange program in Financial Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. Later in 2014, they enrolled in the CFA Institute and successfully obtained the CFA Level I certification in Finance.
