Christian Birrell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Christian is currently the Managing Director and Head of UK Investment at Heimstaden, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DTZ Investors from 2014 to 2022, first as a Portfolio Manager and later as a Director - Investment Manager COLIV. At DTZ Investors, they gained expertise in portfolio strategy, asset management, planning, development, deal structuring, and execution of complex transactions. Before joining DTZ Investors, Christian worked at DTZ in their Investment Agency division from 2012 to 2014. Christian also has experience as an athlete, having served as a member of the British Sailing Team at the Royal Yachting Association from 2010 to 2012.
Christian Birrell attended The University of Manchester from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law. Afterwards, they pursued further education at London South Bank University from 2012 to 2013, earning an MSc in Real Estate Investment.
