Gerardo Velazquez

Gerardo Velazquez has extensive experience in digital technology and IT leadership, currently serving as VP Digital & Technology (CIO) at Lagunitas Brewing Co., a subsidiary of The HEINEKEN Company, since May 2013. In this role, Gerardo defines IT strategy and oversees digital transformation initiatives aligned with business functions globally. Previous positions at The HEINEKEN Company include Director of Markets & Technology for the Americas, where leadership was provided for technology service delivery across multiple countries, and Director of Technology & Operations for the Americas, responsible for a unified technology roadmap. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma and FEMSA, contributing to IT planning, innovation, and support functions. Gerardo holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from UANL, Mexico, and an Engineering degree in Information Technology from the same institution.
