Jaap Overmars

Jaap Overmars currently serves as the Regional CFO for Africa and the Middle-East at The HEINEKEN Company, a position held since August 2020. Prior to this role, Jaap Overmars was the CFO and Finance Director for both China and Russia & CIS at FrieslandCampina from June 2014 to July 2020 and also held various finance positions at Ahold from 2002 to May 2014. These roles included Director of Commercial Finance for Albert Heijn and Senior Manager of Finance Operations for Ahold USA. Jaap Overmars began the career at Unilever with an international internship in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and holds an Executive Master of Finance and Control (RC) as well as a degree in Business Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Educational credentials include attendance at Keele University and completion of secondary education at Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest.
