Gijs van der Loo

Gijs van der Loo has extensive experience in leadership roles within The HEINEKEN Company, currently serving as the Managing Director of Surinaamse Brouwerij and previously holding positions such as Sales Director in Slovakia and Director of Modern Trade and Revenue Management in Romania. Gijs has demonstrated expertise in overseeing sales and marketing teams, managing significant P&L responsibilities, and leading strategic projects in digitalization and procurement transformation. Additionally, Gijs serves as the President of The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic, working to enhance business relations between Slovakia and the Netherlands. Gijs holds a Master's degree in Financial Management and a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University, along with educational credentials from Maastricht University. Early in career stages, Gijs was a professional youth player at PSV Eindhoven.
