Matthew Dornauer

Matthew Dornauer currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for HEINEKEN USA, overseeing legal, compliance, and regulatory functions since February 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew was the General Counsel at Phusion Projects from January 2013 to February 2022, where strategic legal and business advice was provided to executives and various business divisions. Matthew began their legal career as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP from September 2008 to January 2013, handling high-profile litigation and regulatory investigations, following a Summer Associate position at the same firm in 2007. Matthew holds a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University, and completed an Executive Education program in Leadership in Corporate Counsel at Harvard Law School, as well as a Pre-Law Programme at St. Anne's College, University of Oxford.
