Matthew Mugo Fields

Matthew Mugo Fields currently serves as General Manager for Supplemental and Intervention Solutions at HMH since November 2017 and as President at Heinemann Publishing since August 2022. Fields has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having founded and led multiple education-focused organizations, including Redbird Advanced Learning and GiftedandTalented.com, which were acquired by McGraw-Hill. Fields is a co-founder of Rocket Group and held the position of Vice President at Platform Learning from 2003 to 2006. Early career experience includes consulting at Deloitte. Educational credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Management from Harvard Business School, an Ed.M. in Reform, Technology, and Innovation from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in Business from Morehouse College. Fields is also a member of YPO since June 2009.
