Raquel Vaz Vieira has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Raquel started their career as a Researcher at the University of Minho in 2003 and worked there until 2006. Raquel then moved to Micropolis Polymer Production and Development S.A., where they held the positions of R&D Researcher and later R&D Manager from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Devan Chemicals as a Product Manager/Business Development and also served as the Site Manager for Devan PT until 2014. Raquel then became the Microencapsulation Business Unit Manager and later the Thermoregulation Business Unit Manager, a role they held until 2020. In 2019, Raquel joined HeiQ as the Brand Force Director-Iberia and is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for HeiQ IBERIA. Raquel has demonstrated expertise in research, development, management, and business development throughout their career.

Raquel Vaz Vieira has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry and entrepreneurship. In 1998, they began their academic journey at Universidade do Minho, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry with a specialization in the quality of textile materials. This program lasted until their graduation in 2003.

Following their bachelor's degree, Raquel furthered their studies at Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho from 2004 to 2006. During this period, they completed their Master's degree in Textile Chemistry, expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field.

In 2012, Raquel Vaz Vieira embarked on a new educational endeavor at Vlerick Business School, where they participated in an Executive Master Class in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. This program allowed their to gain valuable insights and skills in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship, enhancing their professional competencies.
