Julie Nguyen

Julie Nguyen has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Julie recently worked as an Office Manager at Heirloom. Prior to that, they were an Associate Chief of Staff at Brimstone, where they focused on climate-related initiatives. Julie also worked at GlobeIn as an Impact & Sustainability Specialist and Operations Associate, where they developed partnerships with global vendors and managed the company's impact reporting. Julie gained experience in sustainability and community engagement as a Building Decarbonization Program Assistant at the City of Palo Alto. Julie has also held positions as a Climate Corps Fellow at Strategic Energy Innovations, a Zero Waste Program Associate at San Mateo County Community College District, an Associate at Roasting Water, an Ophthalmic Assistant at Advanced Eye Care of Orange County, a Mathematics Instructor at Masterprep Academy, and an Optometric Intern at Eye-C-You Optometry, Inc.

Julie Nguyen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability Studies at the University of California, Riverside, from 2012 to 2017. Julie obtained additional certifications as a Climate Change Professional from Skyline College in June 2020 and as a LEED Green Associate from Green Business Certification, Inc. in December 2018.
