Weiwei Cao Persson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2009, Weiwei worked as an Art Therapist for the Japan Clinical Art Association until 2011. In 2010, Weiwei also interned at Shanghai Normal University in the International Students Office. Additionally, from 2009 to 2010, Weiwei created and managed Art Lab workshops in Tokyo, which focused on art therapy and creative play for children.
Weiwei's graphic design career began in 2008, when they worked as a Graphic Designer at Vision 3 Design until 2012. In 2010, Weiwei worked as a Translator and Research Assistant for the Anthropological Research on Shanghai World Exposition 2010, collaborating with a research team from Japan.

Weiwei Cao Persson completed a Master's degree in Child Culture Design at HDK, School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg from 2013 to 2015. Previously, between 2007 and 2011, Weiwei obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Artistic Design from Shanghai Normal University.
