Ruben Baskaran

Ruben Baskaran has varied experience working in software development and healthcare-related software products. Ruben is currently employed as a Software Developer at Hejdoktor, where they develop healthcare-related software products using ASP.NET Core and React in a remote position. Prior to this, Ruben worked as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark for two years, focusing on the development of healthcare-related software products using React.js and React Native.

In earlier roles, Ruben worked as a Software Developer at Netcompany A/S, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining business-oriented IT systems based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and .NET. Ruben also worked as a Software Developer at dukaPC A/S, where they maintained .NET software and developed a new module for audio/video calls.

In addition to their software development roles, Ruben has prior experience working as a Telemarketer at The Call Company A/S and as a Cashier at KIWI minipris.

Ruben Baskaran completed their high school education at HTX Christiansbjerg from 2008 to 2011. Ruben then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Aarhus University, which they completed from 2011 to 2015. Ruben later went on to study at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering from 2018 to 2020.
